Whether the ideas sprout completely out of our own creativity or from input of the client, the development towards the creation of a display mannequin is the same.

The designers set to work with the given specifications and start from scratch making a clay model. This clay modeling process is regularly monitored and if necessary, the clay model is adapted, transformed or altered. Through years of experience in product presentation and store concepts, Hans Boodt Mannequins knows like no other what the requirements of a display mannequin are.

After approval of even the smallest details, the clay model is used to create a mold to produce a mannequin. After creating the full mannequin all the finishing touches are applied. Hans Boodt Mannequins has its own specialists to determine the style of makeup and skin, according to the clients’ wishes. The make-up samples are than sent to the factory, which, without any deviation from the original, gives the display mannequins their face. The opportunities in makeup and skin colors are endless as well as the finishes. Whether it's high gloss, matte, sanded, ribbed, aluminum-look, covered with paper or the appearance of wood, anything is possible.

Hans Boodt Mannequins regularly visits its factories and the creative executive teams on site. This is done to ensure that the standards of Hans Boodt Mannequins are complied with during the whole production process. The high quality of design, workmanship, finishing and delivery are of paramount importance to us and we also find that personal contact with the suppliers on site is contributing to them and the best end result.
