South African showroom
In October 2019 we opened our first physical space in Southern Africa. After hard work and many preparations, we are proud to announce the launch of the Cape Town showroom. The space will act as showroom, as well as office where HBM country manager, Justin Cohen, will work from.
FROM FATHER TO SON
Justin’s father, Norman Cohen, was partner and owner of Hollywood Displays, leader in the manufacture and supply of mannequins and visual merchandise equipment in Southern Africa for over 50 years.
After completing a BA honours in 2004, Justin relocated to Cape Town to open a branch of this family business, which he managed for 5 years, culminating in the sale of Hollywood Displays.
Due to their international growth, at the start of 2011 Hans Boodt Mannequins International approached Justin to act as their sole agent and partner in Southern Africa.
To complete multiple years of a strong collaboration between himself and the company, in 2019 Justin welcomed both the birth of his son and the opening of the first Hans Boodt Mannequins showroom in Africa. The showroom showcases multiple collections, surrounded in a world of fluent shapes with a hint of neon yellow.
With his unique insight into the trends of the South African retail landscape and a wealth of international relationships, Justin is very happy to welcome you in the Cape Town showroom.
